神经肽Y受体1是G蛋白偶联受体,参与调节食物摄取与能量平衡。神经肽Y1在包括海马体、下丘脑、扁桃体和大脑皮层以及外周组织心脏、肾脏、骨骼肌在内的多种组织中均有表达。其定位和表达表明其参与调控食物摄取和体重。
在细胞培养物中,用表达人类Y(1)受体的CHO细胞进行的毛喉素刺激c-AMP产生实验中,BMS-193885显示出对神经肽Y1的功能拮抗作用。
在体内,在大鼠中使用剂量为10 mg/kg的BMS-193885可导致1h的神经肽Y诱导的食物摄取和自发的过夜食物消耗[2]。相比对照组未出现耐受或影响水摄取,长期使用BMS-193885(10 mg/kg)i.p.到44天,可显著降低食物摄取和体重增长速率[2]。
