维生素D结合蛋白(DBP)是一种多功能的、高表达的多态性血清蛋白[1,2]。自1959年鉴定之后,发现维生素D结合蛋白的许多重要功能,包括维生素D代谢物的转运、免疫系统和宿主防御[3]。分子量范围、外观的时间过程以及膳食锶的效果表明,这类新出现的蛋白(条带C)可能代表着响应于维生素D的钙结合蛋白的形成。使用色谱纯化来自大鼠肠的钙结合蛋白,结果表明,该蛋白(条带C)最可能是钙结合蛋白。在大鼠钙结合蛋白的最终纯化过程中,在凝胶上可观察到主要的污染蛋白(条带A),这种蛋白是预先存在的,可能是钙结合蛋白的前体[4]。
