CD 2314是RARβ的强效选择性激动剂,对RARβ和RARα受体的Kd值分别为145和大于3760 nM[1].
维甲酸受体β(RARβ)是维甲酸的核受体,位于细胞质和亚核隔室中.RARβ介导细胞生长\分化和胚胎形态发生的细胞信号.
CD 2314是RARβ的有效选择性激动剂.由于胸腺中缺乏RARβ,CD 2314不抑制胸腺细胞中活化诱导的凋亡[1].CD 2314抑制细胞生长,对人头颈部鳞状细胞癌(HNSCC)22A\22B\183A和886细胞系的IC50值分别为8.0\3.0\5.7和大于10 μM.在UMSC22B细胞中,CD2314与RXR选择性的类视黄醇组合使用,如SR11234\SR11203\SR11246和SR11236,可抑制细胞生长[2].在KG-1细胞中,CD 2314不诱导叶酸受体β(FR-β)的表达,这表明FR-β的诱导不是由RARβ介导的[3].
