人维生素D结合蛋白（HDBP）又被称为Gcglobulin，是由肝脏合成的一种丰富的、多功能的并且具有高度多态性的血清糖蛋白1。DBP是维生素D固醇类物质的主要血清转运蛋白2，高亲和力的结合并隔绝肌动蛋白单体3,4，存在于多种细胞的细胞膜上，包括B淋巴细胞、T淋巴细胞和胎盘的细胞滋养细胞。

DBP是一种分泌蛋白质，因此推测其具有一个信号序列。通过对cDNA和hDBP的氨基末端多肽进行序列比对，预测建立了成熟血清蛋白氨基末端的模型8。
