3,3'-二吲哚基甲烷是一种抗肿瘤剂[1]。
3,3'-二吲哚基甲烷(DIM)是在低pH值环境中生成的一种吲哚-3-甲醇的二聚物，它抑制细胞生长，在MCF-7、T47D及Saos2细胞系中的IC50值分别为17、24及30 μM。DIM在不影响p53信号通路的情况下诱发这些细胞的凋亡。在人鼻咽癌（NPC）细胞系(5-8F NPC)中， DIM用药可剂量依耐性地降低细胞迁移和细胞侵袭的能力。在移植有NPC 细胞的大鼠体内，DIM给药可抑制淋巴结转移。此外，研究发现，DIM可以在缺乏E2的低浓度(10 μM)下诱发ERα靶基因表达并伴随细胞增殖[1，2和3]。
