小鼠CCL9/10属于CC趋化因子家族。它由CCL9基因编码。Mrp-2(CCL9/10)是从小鼠巨噬细胞系RAW 264.7中分离得到的。MRP-2与MRP-1(C10)在蛋白质水平上的序列同源性为51%，与MIP-1-α(CCL3)的同源性为46%。CCL9/10的功能性受体已被鉴定为CCR1。相反，其他CCR1配体，CCL3/MIP-1α和CCL5/RANTES被认为是炎症反应中的主要CCR1配体。CCL9可激活破骨细胞，提示其在骨吸收中发挥重要作用。小鼠CCL9/10与大鼠CCL9/10具有75%的氨基酸同源性。
