背景

层粘连蛋白(925-933)是一种来源于层粘连蛋白B1链925-933残基的多肽(Cys-Asp-Pro-Gly-Tyr-Ile-Gly-Ser-Arg),与层粘连蛋白受体结合。

层粘连蛋白属于细胞外基质糖蛋白家族,是基底膜的主要非胶原成分。它们参与多种生物学过程,包括细胞粘着、分化、迁移、信号通路、突起生长和癌转移。层粘连蛋白由3条不同的链组成,分别为层粘连蛋白α、β和γ(以前分别称为A、B1和B2)。

层粘连蛋白β1链有7个结构上不同的区域,这是与其它β链异构体共有的部分。层粘连蛋白β1在大多数产生基底膜的组织中表达,是组成层粘连蛋白1的3条链之一。层粘连蛋白1是从Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm(EHS)肿瘤中分离到的第一个层粘连蛋白。β1链中参与细胞附着、趋化作用和与层粘连蛋白受体结合的序列已被鉴定到,其具有抑制癌转移的能力。

Applications

Laminin (925-933) stimulated the attachment of HT-1080 and CHO cells to culture plates when used at concentrations of 100 and 300 µg/ml for 1 h incubation. In addition, laminin (925-933) (100 µg/ml; 5 h incubation) was found to be a chemoattractant for the B16F10 murine melanoma cells, showing about 30% of the maximal response observed with full-length laminin. Laminin (925-933) could compete with full-length laminin and inhibit chemotactic response of the cells to full-length laminin.
