R-(2)-Deprenyl是用于治疗帕金森氏病的药物之一.它的神经保护作用以及对细胞凋亡的抑制机制仍未研究清楚.CGP 3466是R-(2)-Deprenyl结构相关的类似物,几乎没有单胺氧化酶B型抑制活性,但具有神经保护作用.
体外实验:CGP 3466B在结构上与传统的单胺氧化酶抑制剂和三环抗抑郁剂相关,但缺乏抗抑郁作用相关的药理学性质.在体外实验中,CGP 3466B可以防止人类神经母细胞瘤和PC-12细胞的凋亡性死亡以及保护小脑颗粒细胞免受阿糖胞苷诱导的死亡[1].
在体实验:在pmn/pmn小鼠中,出生后2周临床症状发作时口服CGP 3466B.CGP 3466B减缓疾病进展,增加57%寿命,维持体重和运动性能.CGP 3466B可以作为潜在的运动神经元疾病的治疗药物[2].
临床试验:到现在为止,CGP 3466B还处于临床前开发阶段.
